Palringo is proud to release its latest version of IM client for Symbian – 0.98.0. The latest release fixes all the reported bugs and add some new features. You can download it from our download site or update you current version using autoupdate.

Photo Message Thumbnails (On PC)
We’ve added a last-minute surprise to the 1.2.3 release candidate. Now, just like on the iPhone and Mac OS X versions of Palringo, you’ll see a thumbnail for incoming photo messages.

We’ve implemented this feature in a cool way so that the thumbnail is progressively updated as the message is being received [...]

The Growl notification system is now supported and will be included in the next update; we also added the frequently requested ability to change the way Palringo notifies you of new messages.
